Where do you draw the line between the worship of words "God and worship a particular" Bible? "The use of a particular" Bible "to save us or that" God "save us? Note that there are some who are illiterate. They have to "hear" the words of God. It is wrong to say that if the illiterate heard the words of God a source other than the KJV Bible, which could actually be saved? This is serious stuff here! We are talking about the Words of God! Are we now "labeled" God's words? (I apologize for this next sentence like I want to say without offending anyone support for the KJV AV 1611), but can this be considered "cult like" the activity or thought? Serious replies only. There are so many translations available today which can be very confusing? What are the best? There incorrect? Is this the "greatest" best ever? "Or perhaps the" new "is preferred!

1. Amplified Bible (AMP)

The New International Version Reader is a new version of the Bible based on the New International Version (NIV). The NAV is easy to understand and very clear. More people read the NIV than any other English Bible. We made the Nirve even easier to read and understand. We use the terms of the NIV when we could. We sometimes use shorter terms. We explained words that might be difficult to understand. We made the sentences shorter.

We have other things to make the Nirve version of the Bible in it for you. For example, sometimes an appointment Bible verse elsewhere in the Bible. The challenge for the translators was to create a text that would make the same impact on life modern readers that the original text had for the readers of origin. In the New Living Translation, this is accomplished by translating entire thoughts (rather as words) into natural, everyday English. The end result is a translation that is easy to read and understand and communicate accurately the meaning the original text.

19. New American Standard Revised (NSRV)

The NIV translation has been rightly labeled "World Edition", which has been widely used by Protestants and the Catholic faithful since 1990.

20. Revised Standard (RSV)

Published in 1952, the Revised Standard Version of the Bible is a revision authorized version American standard.
