Atheists: Would you let your child read the Bible?
This is based on the question here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080114062714AA6DY1g&cp=2 The Bible contains the cruelty and incest and may not be suitable reading for very young children, but do not think any atheist that preventing older children reading so they can make their own minds. Do you agree?
Wow. Where do they come to this? Of course, someone who has no respect for granted, evidence, the reality or truth is not got nothing, just stopping them from doing something, and then "believe" that "true" (or even " Big Bully word from heaven "). I have no children, myself, and I find it hard to believe that if it did, all get very far reading the Bible (once they reached all "begets" I gave up). Would there be any problem if my child took the religion, praying and reading the Bible? Probably. Do I punish them, or take their book away? No, that's the kind of things affected by the "god of love" do not, what a rational, loving person does. As soon as reading of the Bible, only bother me if I thought they were taking seriously, read it for educational purposes does not bother me at all. Edit after reading the other responses: Do you realize? "It's just I can not imagine that an atheist could allow their children to pursue religion seriously." The believer can not imagine, therefore, what they think is true. When I was in high school, I was a believer, a friend (well, many people believe) that had an atheist and agnostic parents. Although not very pleased that was religious, not prohibited or punished. Yes, all points of view argued return, but did nothing to prevent her from thinking about what I thought. Ah, Indeed, some believers "can not imagine" this, therefore, may not be true. Silly me!

Question for Christians please tell me the Bible says about this?
children when they misbehave. Someone sent an answer today, in a separate paper R & S question that the Bible says that children should be beaten to death. Tell me where the Bible speaks bad behavior and how children should be handled. Quote of the Please correct and scriptural interpertation. Thank you stoned to death … that is the part I want. Where is that in the Bible?
The Old Testament says that disobedient children should be stoned to death has not been beaten to death. I guess that's one of the laws of the Old Testament that "no account" because Jesus was crucified. For your request: Here are the chapters that tell the disobedient children should be sentenced to death. (Included in "sources") I do not think these verses need much interpretation, but I am sure that those who believe in the Bible is one way to interpret this as meaning something else, to justify, or say that because they are OT, which is "do not count" more, because Jesus died on the cross, or does not apply to a certain group of people at one time. Do not be surprised if people are going to explain that distance, initially said that no such verse in the Bible, begin.
