Bible Stories For Children
Christian: children are too young for some of the stories in the Bible?
I remember reading about Lot and his daughters. I also remember taught about Sodom and Gomorrah, the plague that killed all the firstborn in Egypt, and a king killing many babies, while the search for Jesus. Are these good stories to tell young children? Because when I was a kid, it bothered me well for them.
I agree. I believe that the Bible should only be introduced to the young and only in combination with other texts like the Koran, the Bhagavad-Gita, the Tao Te Ching, etc.

Stories from the Bible: Jonah and the Big Fish
Jonah had been given a task by God to go and talk to the people of Nineveh. tell them to change their bad roads or God will destroy their city. But instead of east across the desert to Nineveh, Jonah tried to flee from God. Find a ship to the west Spain. But God sent a storm and the sailors had to throw Jonah overboard.

After praying and After the fish have been all this time, the Lord spoke to the fish. He opened his mouth wide, and Jonah went to the mainland.
When Jonas was again safe on dry land, God spoke to him again. He said to go to Nineveh to preach to the people the message that you them. This time Jonah obeyed. It must have been for several days to travel through the desert to Nineveh. He entered the city wall and began walking around the city. As I walked the message of God cried, "Yet forty days and Nineveh, are added, dropped! "

He also repentance and everyone in the kingdom not to eat or drink for a while but confesses his sins to God and turn from their wickedness, then maybe God spare.
When God saw that it felt for their sins and deviated from their wicked ways, he forgave and not destroy their city. When Jonah saw God did not destroy their city, it was very angry, because God wanted to destroy them. He prayed, "Lord, so I do not want to come here first. I knew that thou art merciful and gender. And now, I'd rather die than live, because my word is not a reality. "Johan has left town and made a small stand of arms to protect a blazing sun.
Then he sat down to see if God will destroy the city, after all. The Lord prepared a gourd, a plant rapid growth with very large leaves. This gave him a little shade to Jonah that he was very grateful. The next day, God sent a worm eat the plant, which died shortly after. Then God sent a strong wind in the east.
