Need answers from Christians please.?
A few questions,
1. Where in the Bible does it clearly state that Jesus is God?
2. Where in the Bible does it say about the trinity? (As in all are God)
3. Where in the Bible does it say that Hell is eternal torture? (Hell is eternal, but the torture?)
I have been chatting with Jehovah’s witnesses, and they are making sense.
Am I wrong to believe in the trinity, and Jesus being God?
1 John 5:7 was added to KJV bible…in ancient manuscript that text doesn’t exist, so please don’t quote this. (Look up all the other versions, they agree).
h’ayim tovim Y’all: Thank you for the advice, I will.
1) There are many ways to show Jesus is God. One way is that Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth in John 5. Jesus is creator in Colossians 1. Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in Revelations and these references only represent God in the OT. You can not have 2 beings that have the same job or you have 2 gods or one god and one demi god and since there is only one God then Jesus was right in saying He is one with the Father.
2) trinity is not in the bible but all three have diety characteristics that only God has so since there are three this is a trinity. Just as bible is not in the bible, neither is trinity in the bible but you can see it exists, if you dont like this word, the bible does say Godhead.
3) Jesus talked about hell and said it is a place where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. The rish ruler went to hell and was in fire that did not consume his spirit body. Even if our physical body lay asleep until the judgement, we will experience hell or paradise, if it is not a real place, what is Jesus trying to make symbols of with weeping and gnashing of teeth?
If I were you I would ask God to give you wisdom and show you in the bible. If you are a man of faith, you will be given an answer. The JW bible has unreliable sources that translated their bible, ask for who put their bible together. The conservative bibles today that are word for word translations have which scholars and what degrees they have and where they teach and you can see their credentials and their expertise in Greek and Hebrew and they are all reputable. The JW bible has very few scholars to endorse it and they will make it as if they were the best scholar. Check out your NASB bible or NKJV bible if you want a conservative bible to read tonight.

Help! I need a KJV bible verse!?
Ok. So one of my friends don’t believe in God and I need a KING JAMES VERSION bible verse to tell him. I need the verse to say something like you need to put your faith in God and he makes everything happen for a reason. See he lost his dad about 2 years ago and he just lost his brother in July. It has really been bothering me lately and I prayed about it. I felt like God wanted me to ask him so I did. He told me that he does not know what he believes in and when he answers the question for himself he will let me know. I asked him why he dont believe and he said that if there was a God that he wouldn’t let the same thing happen to him twice. So please help me find a KING JAMES VERSION bible verse I can tell him to help him belive there is a God and He makes all things happen for a reason. Thank you so much and God Bless!
I really like mobiledj_1′s recommendation of Romans 8:28. In addition to that, you may find these useful:
* 1 John 1:5 (King James Version)
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

* Luke 11:9-10 (King James Version)
(All who seek God in their lives will find Him)
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

I’m sorry to hear about the tragedies in your friend’s life. Friends are indeed a blessing, and he is blessed to have you as a friend who is there for him. I am also glad to hear that the Holy Spirit has moved you to help your friend with scripture, and that you are listening to Him in your heart and life.
I hope these passages as well as those from others who answer are helpful for you.
God bless.
