In Bible versus Quran: Moses is the fourth man who saw God
This is the fourth article of the series:
“Is The Lord God Seen or Not in Bible versus Quran?”
In the previous three articles, the Bible says that many men have seen the Lord God like Abraham and Isaac, Jacob. Not only has that, but Jacob Wrestles with God and Jacob defeated GOD.
Read the articles “The Lord God is seen in Bible versus Quran” (1-3).
In this article, Moses and Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and seventy elders saw the Lord God of Israel face to face. This indicates that in addition to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, there are 74 persons more who saw the Lord God.
Yet the Bible declares that No one has ever seen God at any time.
The Noble Quran says that No one can see the Almighty Creator in the life of this world; yet, only the believers will see Him in the Hereafter.
In addition, the Quran mentions the story when Moses said, ‘My Lord! Show me, Yourself and Allah told him that he could not see him; and then Allah revealed Himself, to the mountain He leveled it to the ground and Moses fell down senseless.

?? In the Bible: The Lord God is Seen (4)
The Lord God appeared to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses; hence, Moses is the fourth man who saw the Lord God
The Lord God spoke to Moses and said to him, “I am the LORD; I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD I did not make myself known to them.
Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD.
Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders saw the Lord God.
Under God’s feet was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear as the sky itself. God did not lay his hand on the chief men, the elders of Israel; they beheld God, and ate and drank.

? The Lord God appeared to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses
Exodus 3:15-16 (New International Version)
15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.
16 “Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—appeared to me and said: I have watched over you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt.

? Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did not know the name Jehovah
Exodus 6:2-3 (New International Version)
2 God also said to Moses, “I am the LORD.
3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD (Jehovah) I did not make myself known to them.
——————————————————————–
? Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders saw the Lord God.
This indicates that in addition to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, there are 74 persons more who saw the Lord God.
Under God’s feet was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear as the sky itself. God did not lay his hand on the chief men, the elders of Israel; they beheld God, and ate and drank.
Exodus 24:8-11 (New International Version)
8 Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
9 Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up
10 and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear as the sky itself.
11 But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank.
——————————————————————–
? Yet, No one have ever seen the Lord God in the Bible!
Read Exodus 33:20, John 1:18 and 1 John 4:12 and read the articles “The Lord God is Seen in Bible versus Quran” (1) and (2).
======================================================
?? In the Quran: The Lord God is NOT Seen (3)
In the previous articles “The Lord God is seen in Bible versus Quran” (1-3), the following three points are mentioned therein:
1) No man can see the Almighty Creator in the life of this world (Verse 6:103)
2) On the Day of Judgment, your sight will be acute, very sharp and piercing. (Verse 50: 22)
3) Only the Believers will see their LORD in the Hereafter (Verses 75: 22-23).
In this article, verses 7:138-144 tell the story when Moses said, ‘My Lord! Show me, Yourself and Allah told him that he could not see him; and then Allah revealed Himself, to the mountain He leveled it to the ground and Moses fell down senseless.
The meanings of verses 7:138-144
The meanings of verse 7: 138
And Allah brought the Children of Israel across the sea, and they came unto a people (who were given up to idols which they had) who worshipped idols. They said:
O Moses! Make for us a god, show us a god to worship, an idol for us to worship, just as they have gods ‘O Moses, make for us a god, an idol for us to worship, just as they have gods.’ He said, ‘Truly you are an ignorant folk, for repaying God’s grace to you with what you have said.
The meanings of verse 7: 139
Truly as for these, their idolatry will be destroyed and all that they are doing of idolatry is in vain.
The meanings of verse 7: 140
Then Moses said: Shall I seek for you a god other than Allah, shall I command you to worship another lord when Allah has favored you above all the nations of your time through surrender unto Him?
The meanings of verse 7: 141
And remember when Allah delivered you from Pharaoh’s folk who were afflicting you with dreadful torment, slaughtering your little sons and sparing your girls. These events were tremendous trial as well as blessing from your Lord, so will you not heed the admonition and desist from what you are saying?
The meanings of verse 7: 142
And when Allah appointed for Moses to spend in the mountain thirty nights and added to them ten more days and he completed the whole time appointed by his Lord of forty nights (thus was completed the term of communion) with his lord, forty nights.; and Moses said unto his brother Aaron: Take my place, be my deputy among the people. Do right, enjoin them to do right, and do not follow the way of mischief-makers by committing transgressions.
The meanings of verse 7: 143
And when Moses came at Allah’s appointed time, that is, the time at which Allah had promised to speak to him, and his Lord spoke with him, without any intermediary, with speech which he heard from all directions,
Moses said, ‘My Lord! Show me, Yourself, that I may behold You!’
Allah Said, ‘You shall not see Me, that is to say, you do not have the power to see me, but behold the mountain, which is stronger than you are, and if it remains, stays fixed, in its place, then you shall see Me’, that is, [then] you shall remain fixed and able to see Me, otherwise, you will not have the capacity for it.
And when Allah revealed Himself, that is, [when] He manifested of His Light the equivalent of half a nail of a little finger, (as stated in one Hadith), to the mountain He leveled it to the ground and Moses fell down senseless, having lost consciousness at the awesomeness of what he had seen.
And when he recovered his senses he said, ‘Glory be to You!, in Your transcendence. I repent to You, for having asked You what I was not commanded [to ask], and I am the first of the believers’, of my time.
It should be emphasized that the use of this expression [lan tar?n?, which means, ‘you shall not see Me’] instead of lan ur?, which means, ‘I shall not be seen’, implies that it is possible to see God, exalted be He (but only the believers will see Him in the Afterlife)
The meanings of verse 7: 144
Hen Allah said, to him: ‘O Moses, I have elected you, chosen you, from among mankind, the people of your time, for My Messages and My Speech, that is, [for] My having spoken to you. So take what I have given you, of bounty, and be of the thankful’, of My favors.

Bible 8 18
Study of Matthew 8:18-22 . What is the point of these scriptures?
Matthew 18-22…..18 When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. 19 Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
20 Jesus replied, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
21 Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
Why are these verses in the bible ?
What can we learn from them ?
Can you share any relevant scriptures or add any comments to explain these verses ?
When you look at Luke’s account, we see a third person.
57 Now as they were going on the road, someone said to him: “I will follow you to wherever you may depart.” 58 And Jesus said to him: “Foxes have dens and birds of heaven have roosts, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay down his head.”
The scribe had an honored position in his community. He would have to give that up, and put away these things and accept a lifestyle that was not looking to immediate rewards. The implication seems to be that the scribe is too proud to accept this mode of life.
59 Then he said to another: “Be my follower.” The man said: “Permit me first to leave and bury my father.” 60 But he said to him: “Let the dead bury their dead, but you go away and declare abroad the kingdom of God.”
The man’s father evidently had not yet died, for if he had, it would be unlikely that his son would be here listening to Jesus. The son apparently is asking for time to await his father’s death. He is not prepared to put the Kingdom of God first in his life. Since the man would be focusing on the death of his father AND his inheritance, the kingdom would be a minor point of his life.
61 And still another said: “I will follow you, Lord; but first permit me to say good-bye to those in my household.” 62 Jesus said to him: “No man that has put his hand to a plow and looks at the things behind is well fitted for the kingdom of God.”
Those who will be Jesus’ disciples must have their eyes focused on Kingdom service. Just as a furrow likely will become crooked if the plowman does not keep looking straight ahead, so anyone who looks behind at this old system of things may well stumble off the road leading to eternal life.

In Bible versus Quran: we may know that the Son of God is true
The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran (18)
This is the 18th article of the series:” The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran”.
The Bible says: I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one that was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
The Noble Quran says that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, was only a messenger sent to his people; and it is an unforgivable sin if you say or believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or sons; this major sin will lead to the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter. Also the Quran says that the whole worlds, not only this world, are under the control of Allah.

The Sons of the Lord God in the Bible (18)
The Bible (1 John 5:13-21) says:
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that. All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
——————————————–
1 John 5:13-21 in three different versions of the Bible:
New International Version
13I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
15And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
16If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that.
17All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
18We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.
19We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.
20We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
21Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
American Standard Version
13 These things have I written unto you, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, even unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God.
14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:
15 and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
16 If any man see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: not concerning this do I say that he should make request.
17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18 We know that whosoever is begotten of God sinneth not; but he that was begotten of God keepeth himself, and the evil one toucheth him not.
19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the evil one.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21 My little children, guard yourselves from idols.
King James Version
13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
16If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

The Sons of the Lord God in the Quran (18)
The Noble Quran makes the topic of the son(s) of God very clear and says that Allah, the Almighty Creator, has neither a son nor a partner.
In addition, The Quran makes the signs that Jesus was not god very understandable.
The Quran says: O mankind! The Messenger, Muhammad has now come to you with the truth from your Lord; and if you disbelieve in Allah, your disbelief will not harm Him
To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth, as possessions, creatures and servants, and such sovereignty is not compatible with the prophet-hood of Jesus. God suffices as a Guardian, a Witness to this.
The Quran decisively forbids saying that Allah has a son.
It is not befitting for the Majesty of Allah to take to Himself a son.
Allah is exalted, magnified; He is above what they associate with Him of son or partners. Allah is far transcendent above all that they ascribe unto Him!
In Islam, this point is very important faith wise.
- Again, it is unforgivable sin to say or to believe that the One Almighty Creator [who is Allah or God or the Lord or Jehovah or whatever name(s) you are giving Him] has a son or Sons.
From the Islamic point of view, the conclusion of this essential topic that may establish or destroy the faith is that:
Any one who believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or Sons; he messes up his faith and is considered as a disbeliever and in the afterlife he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the hell.
Any one who believes that the Almighty Creator has no son or partner, he has a good faith and is considered as a believer; and in the afterlife, he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the paradise.
Verses 4:170-171 of the Noble Quran make the topic of the son(s) of God plain, clear and understandable.
——————————————–
The meanings of verse 4:170
O mankind! The Messenger, Muhammad has now come to you with the truth from your Lord; with the declaration of Allah’s divine Oneness and the Quran from your Lord. Therefore believe) in Muhammad and the Quran so believe in him and seek what, it is better for you, than that which you are presently seeking.
And if you disbelieve, in Allah, Muhammad and the Quran, then surely to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth, as possessions, creatures and servants, and your disbelief will not harm Him; and Allah is ever Knowing of His creation; He is ever Knower of those who believe and those who do not. He is the Wise in what He does with them and in that He ordained that they should not worship other than Him.
The meanings of verse 4:171
O People of the Gospel, do not go to extremes, do not go beyond the bounds, do not exaggerate, do not be extreme in your religion and do not say about God except, the saying of, the truth, such as exalting Him above any associations with a partner or a son.
The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, was only the Messenger of God, and His Word (that is “Be”) which He conveyed unto Mary and through His word Jesus became a created being, (and a spirit from Him) and through His command, Jesus became a son without a father.
He [Jesus] is here attached to God, exalted be He, as an honoring for him, and not as you claim, that he is the son of God, or a god alongside Him, or one of three, because one that possesses a spirit is compound, while God transcends being compound and the attribution of compounds to Him.
- Refrain, from this and say what, it is better for you, to say, which the profession of Allah Oneness is.
Verily, God is but One God. Glory be to Him, transcending [the possibility], that He should have a son!
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth, as possessions, creatures and servants, and such sovereignty is not compatible with the prophet-hood of Jesus. God suffices as a Guardian, a Witness to this.
In other words, the verse says, Allah is only One God without a son or partner. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that he should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth are His servants. And Allah is sufficient as Defender, as Lord of all created beings and He is witness of what He says about Jesus.
——————————————-
Verses 4:170-171 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:
Verse 4:170
QARIB: o people, the messenger (prophet Muhammad) has come to you with the truth from your lord, so believe, it is better for you. if you disbelieve, to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. and Allah is the knower, the wise.
SHAKIR: o people! surely the messenger has come to you with the truth from your lord, therefore believe, (it shall be) good for you and if you disbelieve, then surely whatever is in the heavens and the earth is Allah’s; and Allah is knowing, wise
PICKTHAL: o mankind! the messenger hath come unto you with the truth from your lord. therefor believe; (it is) better for you. but if ye disbelieve, still, lo! unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Allah is ever knower, wise.
YUSUFALI: o mankind! the messenger hath come to you in truth from Allah: believe in him: it is best for you. but if ye reject faith, to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.
Verse 4:171
QARIB: people of the book, do not exaggerate your religion. Do not say about Allah except the truth. Indeed, the messiah, Jesus son of Mary, is only a messenger (and prophet) of Allah, and his word (be) which he gave to Mary, and a (created) spirit by him. So believe in Allah and his messengers and do not say: ‘trinity. ‘Refrain, it is better for you. Allah is only one god. Exaltations to him that he should have son! To him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth, it is sufficient that Allah is the guardian.
SHAKIR: o followers of the book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the messiah, Isa son of Marium is only a messenger of Allah and his word which he communicated to Marium and a spirit from him; believe therefore in Allah and his messengers, and say not, three. desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one Allah; far be it from his glory that he should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is his, and Allah is sufficient for a protector
PICKTHAL: o people of the scripture! do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. the messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and his word which he conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from him. So believe in Allah and his messengers, and say not “three” – cease! (it is) better for you! – Allah is only one Allah. Far is it removed from his transcendent majesty that he should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as defender.
YUSUFALI: o people of the book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and his word, which he bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from him: so believe in Allah and his messengers. Say not “trinity”: desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: glory be to him: (far exalted is he) above having a son. to him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.

Bible Art Words

Why the word Lucifer not found in NIV bible version? Lucifer and Jesus are one in the NIV bible version?
The word “Lucifer” is found one time in the King James Bible.
Isaiah 14:12
12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (KJV)
Isaiah 14:12
12 How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations! (NIV)
Revelation 22:16
16″I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” (NIV)
2 Peter 1:19
19And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. (NIV)
Revelation 2:28
28I will also give him the morning star. (NIV)
Lucifer is NOT and NEVER WAS the “devil”. Lucifer is the Roman God of light, warmth and enlightenment. The NAME of Lucifer was NOT included in the Bible until WELL after the Protestant Reformation and the develpment of different VESRIONS of the Bible. As teh Roamn God, Lucifer is credited with endowing humanity with the use of fire. The Cristian “re-writers” of the Bible associated FIRE with HELL and so simply added Lucifer’s name to the lift of names that the Devil is known by. However, Lucifer is NOT the only name, term, or Practice of Pagans that was “shanghied” by Christians to obliterate the Pagan’s ways of life.

How do you go about reading your Bible? Do you set a goal such as reading the Bible all the way through every?
year or do you just take it as it comes at whatever pace you’re comfortable with? Do you really dig into each chapter and verse and use commentaries and other helps?
Personally, I have always set a goal to read the Bible cover to cover each year and have always achieved that goal. But recently, I started going to a Bible study and I realized how much more deeply they understand the Bible then I do. I’m thinking that in 2009 it would be good to set a goal of quality rather then quantity.
Our church goes thru the Bible Word by Word, line by line, Book by Book.

The Wind in Bible versus Quran (2)
This is the second article of the series:” The Wind in Bible versus Quran”.
The Bible says that the Almighty Creator 1) made the Winds His Angels, 2) His servants are flames of fire, 3) He has chariot, 4) He walks on the wings of wind and 5) He made the earth never moves etc. The Noble Quran says that Naught is as Allah’s likeness in attributes. Any form, picture, thoughts that you put the Almighty Creator in it is absolutely mistaken.

The Wind in the Bible (2)
In Psalm 104:1-8, Kind David says:
“Bless Jehovah, O my soul. O Jehovah my God, thou art very great; You are clothed with honor and majesty: Who covers himself with light as with a garment; Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain; Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters; Who makes the clouds his chariot; Who walks upon the wings of the wind; Who makes winds his Angels; Flames of fire his servants; Who set the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved for ever. You cover it with the deep as with vesture; the waters stood above the mountains. At thy rebuke they fled; At the voice of your thunder they hasted away. They flowed over the mountains; they went down into the valleys, to the place you assigned for them.”
—————————-
Herein, there are some important points:
1) The Bible describes the lord God, the Almighty Creator as:
- He has clothes
- He covers himself with light as with a garment
- He stretches out the heavens like a curtain
- He lays the beams of his chambers in the waters
- His chariot is made of clouds
- He walks upon the wings of the wind
- He makes winds his Angels
- His servants are flames of fires
- He set the foundations of the earth
- His voice is the thunder
2) The Bible says that the earth has foundations and it should not be moved for ever.
3) The speed of the Lord God was that of the wind.
4) The wind has wings!
Moreover, there are some discrepancies in the translation of some words in the many versions of the Bible e.g.:
- In some Bible’s versions, the word “Angel” is translated to “messenger”.
- In some Bible’s versions, the word “wind” is translated to “spirit”.
- In some Bible’s versions, the word “curtain” is translated to “tent”.
—————————-
On the other hand, all of the above points are ABSOLUTELY rejected in the Noble Quran because:
1) The Noble Quran says that Naught is as Allah’s likeness in attributes. Any form, picture, thoughts that you put the Almighty Creator in it is absolutely wrong.
2) The Almighty Creator is not a body
3) The thunder is not the voice of the Almighty Creator.
4) When the Almighty Creator decides upon a matter, when He wants to do anything, He only says to it ‘Be!’ and it is.
5) The speed of the Lord God was that of the wind; for instance, does not He know the speed of the light? However, Naught is as Allah’s likeness in attributes.
6) The wind has no wings!
7) the Angels are created from the Pure Light.
the Angels are the servants of the Almighty Creator and they never disobey Him.
9) The earth has No foundations and it is rounded and it moves
10) The Great Prophet King David can not say that about the Almighty Creator simply because he knows better who Allah is.
—————————-
Aside from the Bible and the Quran, boys in schools know very well that the earth moves and it has two types of movements: the first one is around the sun at about 100,000 km/h. It takes 365 days (1 year/12 months) for the Earth to complete one revolution around the Sun. and the other around itself. It takes 24 hours for the earth to spin around itself.
These two movements are responsible for the seasonal changes and the day and night respectively.
I really do not believe that the Lord God or King David says that the earth foundations and it should not be moved for ever. .

Psalm 104:1-8 in three different versions of the Bible:
New International Version
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty.
2 He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent
3 and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters. He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind.
4 He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants.
5 He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.
6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains.
7 But at your rebuke the waters fled, at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
8 they flowed over the mountains, they went down into the valleys, to the place you assigned for them.
King James Version
1Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
2Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
3Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
4Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
5Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
6Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
7At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
8They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
Young’s Literal Translation
1Bless, O my soul, Jehovah! Jehovah, my God, Thou hast been very great, Honour and majesty Thou hast put on.
2Covering himself [with] light as a garment, Stretching out the heavens as a curtain,
3Who is laying the beam of His upper chambers in the waters, Who is making thick clouds His chariot, Who is walking on wings of wind,
4Making His messengers — the winds, His ministers — the flaming fire.
5He hath founded earth on its bases; It is not moved to the age and for ever.
6The abyss! as with clothing Thou hast covered it, Above hills do waters stand.
7From Thy rebuke they flee, From the voice of Thy thunder haste away.
8They go up hills — they go down valleys, Unto a place Thou hast founded for them.

The Wind in the Noble Quran (2)
In this article, the following three points will be discussed:
1) The Historical destructive wind as a Punishment for the disbelievers of the Ancient nation of Aad
2) What if Allah wants to do anything?
3) The Precious verse (faith-wise) of the Quran that describes the Almighty Creator
——————————————————————————————-
1) The Historical destructive wind as a Punishment for the disbelievers of the Ancient nation of Aad.
Verses 69:4-8 of the Noble Quran describe this destructive wind!
Historical Background:
Aad was an ancient nation. Aad nation is always mentioned in the Noble Quran as a nation that came after Noah. Allah sent his Prophet Hud to the people of Aad; some of them believed and many of them disbelieved. Allah punished the disbelievers of Aad by the wind and He saved the believers. The people of Aad were famous by their outstanding might.
It is said that Aad nation lived at the south of Saudi Arabia, nearby Yemen.
The Prophet Hud was Arabic.
The nation of Aad and the Prophet Hud are not mentioned in the Bible.
Thamud was an ancient nation. Thamud nation came after the nation of Aad; it is always mentioned in the Noble Quran as a nation that came after Aad.
Allah sent his Prophet Salih to the people of Thamud; some of them believed and many of them disbelieved. Allah punished the disbelievers of Thamud when they killed the Camel which was the miracle of the Prophet Salih who warned his people not to hurt that Camel and they agreed but they never kept their word. The miraculous Camel emerged from a big rock and it has no father and no mother; it came out as an intact adult Camel following Allah’s will when He says to anything He wants: Be! And it is.
The people of Aad were famous by the might and transgression.
It is said that Aad nation lived at the northern part of Saudi Arabia, nearby Yemen.
The nation of Thamud is too not mentioned in the Bible may be because the Prophet Salih was Arabic too.
—————————-
The meanings of verses 69:4-8
Verses 69:4
The nation of Thamud and the nation of Aad both disbelieved in the Resurrection to come and they denied their Prophets and refuted the Day of Judgment.
Verses 69:5
As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overwhelming Roar, an excessively severe shout of the Angel Gabriel. They were destroyed because of their transgression and idolatry; and it is said that their transgression drove them to disbelieve until they were destroyed.
Verses 69:6
And as for Aad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind. The wind was deafening, intensely clamorous, violent wind, [that was] powerful and severe [in its assault] upon Aad, despite their power and might.
Verses 69:7
Allah forced and imposed that wind upon them uninterruptedly for seven nights and eight days with the same force so that you might have seen the people therein lying prostrate, lying dead on the ground, as if they were the hollow, collapsed, trunks of palm-trees.
Verses 69:8
So do you O Muhammad see any remnant of them? Do you see one remaining?’ No!
—————————-
Verses 69:4-8 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:
Verses 69:4
QARIB: Thamood and Aad belied the clatterer.
SHAKIR: Samood and ad called the striking calamity a lie
PICKTHAL: (the tribes of) Thamud and Aad disbelieved in the judgment to come.
YUSUFALI: the Thamud and the ‘ad people (branded) as false the stunning calamity!
Verses 69:5
QARIB: Thamood, they were destroyed by the violent shout (of Gabriel),
SHAKIR: then as to Samood, they were destroyed by an excessively severe punishment
PICKTHAL: as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the lightning.
YUSUFALI: but the Thamud, – they were destroyed by a terrible storm of thunder and lightning!
Verses 69:6
QARIB: as for Aad, they were destroyed by a howling, violent wind
SHAKIR: and as to ad, they were destroyed by a roaring, violent blast
PICKTHAL: and as for Aad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind,
YUSUFALI: and the ‘ad, they were destroyed by a furious wind, exceedingly violent;
Verses 69:7
QARIB: that he subjected upon them for seven nights and eight days consecutively and you might have seen them struck down as if they were the stumps of palm trees that had fallen down.
SHAKIR: which he made to prevail against them for seven nights and eight days unremittingly, so that you might have seen the people therein prostrate as if they were the trunks of hollow palms
PICKTHAL: which he imposed on them for seven long nights and eight long days so that thou mightest have seen men lying overthrown, as they were hollow trunks of palm-trees.
YUSUFALI: he made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down!
Verses 69:8
QARIB: can you see any remnant of them now?
SHAKIR: do you then see of them one remaining?
PICKTHAL: canst thou (O Muhammad) see any remnant of them?
YUSUFALI: then seest thou any of them left surviving?
——————————————————————————————-
2) What if Allah wants to do anything?
Verse 36: 82 says:
QARIB: when he wills a thing, his command is to say to it ‘be’, and it is!
SHAKIR: his command, when he intends anything, is only to say to it: be, so it is
PICKTHAL: but his command, when he intendeth a thing, is only that he saith unto it: be! and it is.
YUSUFALI: verily, when he intends a thing, his command is, “be”, and it is!
The meanings of the verse:
His command, His affair, when He wills a thing, that is, [when He will] to create something, or to do anything is just to say to it ‘Be’, and it is.
——————————————————————————————-
3) The Precious verse (faith-wise) of the Quran that describes the Almighty Creator
Verse 42: 11 says
QARIB: the originator of the heavens and the earth, he has given you from yourselves, pairs, and also pairs of cattle, thereby multiplying you. there is nothing like him. he is the hearer, the seer.
SHAKIR: the originator of the heavens and the earth; he made mates for you from among yourselves, and mates of the cattle too, multiplying you thereby; nothing like a likeness of him; and he is the hearing, the seeing
PICKTHAL: the creator of the heavens and the earth. he hath made for you pairs of yourselves, and of the cattle also pairs, whereby he multiplieth you. naught is as his likeness; and he is the hearer, the seer.
YUSUFALI: (he is) the creator of the heavens and the earth: he has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does he multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto him, and he is the one that hears and sees (all things).
The meanings of the verse:
He (Allah) is the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the One Who created them [without precedent]. He has made for you, from your own selves, pairs, when He created Eve from Adam’s rib, and [also] pairs, males and females, of the cattle and whereby He multiplies you through marriage. There is nothing like Him; there is no likeness of Him, exalted be He). He is the Hearer, of what you say, the Seer, of your works. Naught is as His likeness in attributes, knowledge, power and providence etc.
The basic point of faith is that Naught is as your Almighty creator.
Since man is a creature which has Spirit that gives him like; and since Naught is as the likeness of your Creator, then the Almighty Creator has NO SPIRIT.
Hence, the Almighty Creator is not a body or material like us. Any form, picture or thoughts that you put the Almighty Creator in it is absolutely wrong.
According to the Islamic Rule of Faith, if any one put the Almighty Creator in any form, picture or thoughts, he or she is Disbeliever and has No faith; and he will end up in the Hereafter as a dweller of the Eternal Fire.
This is in spite of what name(s) you are giving to your Almighty Creator e.g. Allah, Lord, God, Jehovah etc.
On the other hand, the vice versa is absolutely True!

Bible Explained Scriptures
With out using the bible how do you explain the trinity using logic & common sense ?
By twisting a few scriptures you may make it sound real but how do you explain it to someone who knows the bible or who rejects the bible ?
Even I wait in anticipation…
Because it cannot be done.
(John 5:22) For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son,
According to the trinity, the father IS the son.
(Philippians 2:6) who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.
this is saying that Jesus is NOT equal to God.
And the scripture that says that God created Jesus.
(Proverbs 8:22-31) “Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.
Bible Explained Scriptures

Revival Starts with the Bible
Greg Gordon experienced society’s dark underside at an early age. While his high school peers were worried about making grades and prom dates, he was lost in the despair of drugs, dropping out in a desperate search for clarity. “I was trying to find something … anything with meaning,” says the 30-year-old creator of SermonIndex.net, who “hit bottom” at age sixteen in his parents’ Toronto home in 1995.
“I was sitting in my room when I saw a small Bible given to me years ago in summer camp. I randomly turned to a page—it was Romans 3:23: ‘For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.’ It hit me. I read it again and this time I saw ‘For Greg has sinned and come short of the glory of God.’ I fell to my knees and prayed. I knew I needed salvation but felt I didn’t deserve it, but God was with me and His peace flooded through me. That was fourteen years ago, and it has radically changed my life.”
Since coming to Christ, Gordon has finished high school, acquired a certificate in desktop publishing from George Brown College in Toronto, studied theology at Calvary Chapel Bible College in California, and worked at the University of Toronto before starting SermonIndex.net in 2002.
The inspiration for SermonIndex was reading Leonard Ravenhill’s book Why Revival Tarries. Gordon was so taken by Ravenhill’s emphasis on biblical revival that he contacted the late evangelist’s estate and was given permission to post 12 of his sermons on the Internet.
Seven years later, there are over 15,000 audio sermons on the site and 12 million downloads recorded. The mission of SermonIndex is “the preservation of classical vintage preaching and the promotion of genuine biblical revival to this generation.”
Gordon calls revival “the very presence of God” and has been active in organizing revival conferences. Revival is generally described as impassioned public expressions of faith led by charismatic theologians or those embracing the teachings of historical religious evangelists.
Gordon advocates the restoration of the original apostolic Church through daily Bible study. He studies the Bible everyday and believes in doing so with the intensity and dedication of men like Ravenhill, A.W. Tozer, R. C. Sproul and Scottish preacher Robert Murray McCheyne, all of whom he considers mentors. To explain, he quotes Sproul:
Here, then, is the real problem of our negligence. We fail in our duty to study God’s Word, not so much because it is difficult to understand, not so much because it is dull and boring, but because it is work. Our problem is not a lack of intelligence or a lack of passion. Our problem is that we are lazy.
Gordon laments what he considers the lack of emphasis on Scripture in many of today’s pulpits. “We need to get back to the Bible as the sole authority and guide for the Church’s purpose, function and plan in the world. We have never had so many ideas of what the Church is, and never has there been so many ideas expressed without the counsel of the Word.” Again Gordon believes the clarity of Scripture as preached by seasoned theologians is critical.
When asked about his specific Bible study habits, Gordon says there is no shortcut to spiritual success, adding that studying the Bible takes time and it should be studied in its entirety. “We need to simply put our foundation and trust back in the Word of God and study the Bible verse-by-verse in a way that is systematic, instead of a favorite verse here and there. … The Bible cannot be read like other literature—it demands more reverence, more careful attention, more waiting and meditating for meanings.”
Gordon follows several steps while studying his well-worn King James Version.
“First I read primarily to allow God to speak to me personally. As I read it I ask for a ‘light on myself.’ An old English writer once said that we need to let the Bible accuse us. The King James Version has a lot of direct language. Next I read it from the point of having a relationship with God and Jesus Christ. John 17:3 says ‘And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.’ Then I study it carefully. The Bible is more precious than gold or silver and I study it scripture to scripture. Once you start to align the Scriptures together, you see more truth than just one passage.”
SermonIndex is now a full-time occupation for Gordon, who says it can sometimes be run on as little as $100 a month. “God can use little to accomplish much. I don’t have to build a big ministry. The apostles accomplished much with very little.” Gordon wishes to instill more genuine emotion in today’s <a href= “http://www.crosswalk.com/faith/bible-study/”>Bible study </a>. “We have all the tools, but where’s the necessary passion? I think that comes from prayer and revival. I believe both will lead to more Bible-studying, Bible-centric people.”
For Gordon, <a href= “http://www.crosswalk.com/faith/bible-study/”>Bible study </a> is integral to revival, and seasoned theologians can guide us to a better understanding of its role in loving and obeying God’s Word.

Bible Sriptures Explanation?
Can someone please explain this bible scripture for me: thanks, greatly appreciated. So what does this quote mean? “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than the clothing?” (Matthew 6:25)
Fashion and more food than you need are for those that have no better vision for their life than to survive

The Lunar Sabbath
Saturday Sabbath? Or Lunar Sabbath?
People in love do everything in their power to please the one they love. This is the natural reaction of the heart that loves. It is not viewed as a duty, but a joy and privilege! This is what the true Sabbath means to all who love their Maker and wish to honor Him. At the very start of the world, the seventh-day was set apart as a day to rest and worship the Creator. Those who value the care showered on them by a loving heavenly Father, want to obey Him and worship Him on the true Sabbath day.
The question then arises: “Which day is the Bible Sabbath? Which day is the true seventh-day Sabbath of Scripture?” There are many different, widely-held beliefs regarding when to worship. Three of these views are as follows:
- Many people believe that there is no need for a specific day of rest since Yahuwah should be worshipped every day.
- Saturday sabbatarians believe that because Saturday is the last day of the modern seven-day week, it must be the true seventh-day Sabbath. Because modern weeks cycle continuously, they believe Saturday has come down uninterrupted from Creation as the true seventh-day Sabbath.
- Still others believe that an accumulation of Biblical and historical evidence reveals that the true Sabbath can only be found by using the luni-solar calendar used in Bible times.
While it is true that one should worship every day, the sovereign of the Universe Himself expressly commanded that on the seventh-day, labor is to be set aside and special time spent with Him. The Sabbath is not just a day of worship. It is also specifically a day of no labor. Yahuwah even stated that the Sabbath is a sign between Himself and His children forever. This article will consider the evidence for whether the true Sabbath is a “Saturday Sabbath” or what is called a “lunar Sabbath.”
“There is no excuse for anyone in taking the position that there is no more truth to be revealed, and that all our expositions of Scripture are without an error. The fact that certain doctrines have been held as truth for many years . . . is not a proof that our ideas are infallible. Age will not make error into truth, and truth can afford to be fair. No true doctrine will lose anything by close investigation.” Councils to Writers and Editors, p. 35
For all who want to know truth, there comes a time when the way divides. Personal prejudice, tradition and preconceived ideas should have no standing in the mind of one wanting to know “the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth.” If the seeker for truth will study with an open mind, being willing to obey what is revealed if he is convicted that it istruth, then truth will be revealed to his mind and he need not remain in error. This is what is required of all who would study the subject of the lunar Sabbath.
Scripture reveals that the entire conflict between the Creator and Satan is contained in The Battle Over Worship. It is a war for the mind of every man, woman and child alive today. Therefore, it would be wise for everyone on earth to examine this subject for themselves. All should study and know for sure whether the true day of worship is a Saturday Sabbath or a Lunar Sabbath.
Solar? Lunar? or Lunar-Solar?
If it is important to worship on a specific day (the Sabbath) than it is of vital importance that the correct method of counting be used to find that day. In other words, the correct calendar must be used. Time can only be measured by movement. There are three main types of calendars:
- Solar calendar (The modern civil calendar, the Gregorian calendar, is a solar calendar.)
- Lunar calendar (The religious calendar used by Muslims is a lunar calendar.)
- Luni-solar calendar (This is also sometimes called the Lunar-Solar calendar.)
History and archeology reveal that all ancient civilizations used luni-solar calendars. While the Egyptians were the first to adopt a strictly solar calendar, their original calendar was also a lunar-solar calendar. This ancient and highly accurate method of time calculation ties lunar months to the solar year by some observable point in nature.
The movement of the sun, moon and stars are the only accurate measurement of time. Even with modern atomic clocks, all time is measured by the cycles of the heavenly bodies. Days and years are both measured by the rotation of light as viewed from the earth.
A solar year is 365 days long. The lunar year is 11 days shorter than the solar year. Thus, the dates of a strictly lunar calendar float through the seasons of the solar year. Various cultures that used a lunar-solar calendar, anchored the lunar months to different points in the solar year. Some, like the ancient Egyptians, used the rising of the star, Sirius, at the time of the summer solstice. Others, such as the Aztecs and the Maya, used the winter solstice for their new year. More recently, when France adopted a different calendar during the French Revolution, their year briefly began at the autumn equinox.
Historical evidence shows that by far the majority of ancient calendars began their year in the spring, at or near the time of the spring (vernal) equinox. The Israelites also used a luni-solar calendar and began their year in the spring. Both their annual feasts and the seventh-day Sabbath were calculated by the lunar-solar calendar that had been established by the Creator at the very beginning of the world.
The Lunar Sabbath in Scripture
The Creator’s calendar is a vitally important tool for finding the true seventh-day Sabbath which contains the “seal of God.” Sometimes called the mark of God, it is, more accurately, the seal of Yahuwah: one’s pledge of loyalty to the Creator. Scripture reveals that at Creation, both the sun and the moon were given to provide light as well as the means for marking the passage of time. The modern solar calendar does not use the moon for keeping time. Nor does the Hindu or the Muslim lunar calendar use the sun. Only the ancient lunar-solar calendar meets the criteria of using both the sun and the moon in its system of time-keeping.
Many people who keep the feast days listed in Leviticus 23 still observe a Saturday sabbath. They believe that the lunar-solar calendar was used only for the yearly feasts, but that Saturday of the modern solar calendar has come down in a continuous weekly cycle ever since Creation. But this is two different methods of time-keeping! Nowhere in Scripture are two separate and distinct systems of time-keeping mentioned. At Creation, one calendar was established and it required the use of both the sun and the moon.
And . . . [Yahuwah] said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And . . . [Yahuwah] made two great lights; . . . [And He] set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. (Genesis 1:14-18, KJV.)
Right in this passage, in the very first chapter of the first book of the Bible, the principle is established that the two great lights were to be used for marking the time for worship and as a sign, or mark of loyalty to the Creator. The word translated “signs” comes from the Hebrew word ôwth, which means a sign or mark. “This word represents something by which a person or group is characteristically marked. . . . The word means ‘sign’ as a reminder of one’s duty.” (See #226, The New Strong’s Expanded Dictionary of Bible Words.)
The Sabbath is the sign by which the Creator’s people are marked and set apart as different from all others on earth. The Hebrew word that is translated “seasons” is even more revealing. It is the word mo’ed. It is the use of this word that reveals the true Sabbath of Creation is a lunar Sabbath. Mo’ed is the word used specifically to refer to the annual feasts.
Since the Jewish festivals occurred at regular intervals, this word becomes closely identified with them . . . Mo’ed is used in a broad sense for all religious assemblies. It was closely associated with the tabernacle itself . . . [Yahuwah] met Israel there at specific times for the purpose of revealing His will. It is a common term for the worshiping assembly of . . . [Yahuwah's] people. (See #4150, “Lexical Aids to the Old Testament,” Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible, KJV.)
Far from presenting two different systems of time-keeping, Scripture presents only one: the lunar-solar calendar by which the annual feasts as well as the seventh-day Sabbath, a lunar Sabbath, are to be calculated. Leviticus 23 is a listing of the holy feasts of Yahuwah. From the Spring Anniversaries to the Fall Feasts, Leviticus 23 delineates them all out. But the very first “feast” listed is the weekly feast: the seventh-day Sabbath.
And . . . [Yahuwah] spoke unto Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of . . . [Yahuwah], which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts. Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of . . . [Yahuwah] in all your dwellings.” (Leviticus 23:1-3)
From there, Yahuwah went on to list the annual feasts (or mo’edim) but the very first feast He gave was the seventh-day Sabbath.
Lunar Sabbath: A holy day of rest, it is the seventh and last day of each week in a lunation. The weekly cycle restarts with the observation of the first visible crescent moon. Four complete weeks follow New Moon Day.
Psalm 104:19 is yet another witness from Scripture that the seventh-day Sabbath is to be calculated by the moon: “He appointed [created] the moon for seasons.” The word here translated ”seasons” is, again, mo’edim. The Biblical record is consistent: there is only one method of time-keeping presented in scripture. That is the lunar-solar calendar established by Yahuwah Himself at Creation. This calendar establishes all of the times appointed for worship, the mo’edim. The only Sabbath in scripture is a lunar Sabbath.
The Lunar-Solar Calendar of Scripture
The lunar-solar calendar begins each month with the observance of the first visible crescent of the moon in the western sky after sunset. The very next day is called New Moon Day and it is numbered as the first of the month. (For use of the term “New Moon” in Scripture, see: I Samuel 20:5, 18 & 24; 2 Kings 4:23; Psalm 81:3; Isaiah 66:23; Ezekiel 46:1; and Amos 8:5.)
On the ancient calendar, the seventh-day Sabbath always falls on the same dates of every month. This is a feature of the lunar-solar calendar and the true lunar Sabbath.
On the Biblical lunar-solar calendar, each lunation (or lunar month) always begins with a New Moon day, which is in a class of worship day all by itself. Six work days follow on the second through seventh of the month. The seventh-day Sabbath always falls on the 8th, the 15th, the 22nd and the 29th of every lunar month. This is the reason it is called a lunar Sabbath.
Scripture itself supports this calendar configuration. Every time the seventh-day Sabbath is given a numbered date in the Bible, it always falls on the 8th, the 15th, the 22nd or the 29th of the month. Either the actual date itself is assigned or contextual dates and other details consistently allow for that extrapolation. For example, the story of the Exodus from Egypt contains specific dates and details for three months in a row, all of which have the seventh-day Sabbath falling on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th for each month! These calendar details were confirmed 40 years later at the time of Joshua and again at the crucifixion of the Saviour on Passover.
As mentioned previously, the lunar year is shorter than the solar year and without some means of anchoring the lunar months to the solar year, the seasons would float through the calendar. Yahuwah’s method of tying the lunar year to the longer solar year was a beautiful reminder that all their needs were provided for by the loving Creator. Instead of using the spring (or vernal) equinox, the Israelites were to use the ripened barley harvest. Yahuwah sent the “early rain” in the fall for the seed to germinate, and then the “latter rain” was sent in the last month to bring the grain to full maturity. Without rain, there would be no harvest. Thus, the minds of the people were directed to the loving care of their Maker and their hearts filled with gratitude as they recognized His tender care for them.
The true New Year could not begin until after the old solar year had finished. Thus, every two to three years, an extra thirteenth month was intercalated into the year. This was called an embolismic year, because an entire additional month was added to bring the lunations back into alignment with the seasons. Ezekiel provides scriptural proof for the thirteenth month used in embolismic years.
The lunar-solar calendar of Creation is the most accurate method of time-keeping. It is elegant, precise. It is divinely designed time-keeping. Jeremiah 31:35 refers to Yahuwah giving the “ordinances” (or laws) of the moon. The ordinances of divine time-keeping are so simple that the shepherd on the hillside can be as accurate by observation, as the astronomer in his observatory is by calculation. Even the count to Pentecost, which has long confused people because the two specifics of the count seem contradictory, can be accurately figured only by using the lunar-solar calendar.
Jews and the Lunar Sabbath
While it is true that the Jews today worship on a Saturday sabbath, this does not prove that it is the true Sabbath. They did not always worship on the Saturday sabbath. Jewish scholars are very clear that the original method of calendation was different from the modern calendar and that under intense persecution during the fourth century A.D., the Jews gave up their original lunar-solar calendar with its lunar Sabbath. Declaring the new month by observation of the new moon, and the new year by the arrival of spring, can only be done by the Sanhedrin. In the time of Hillell II [4th century C.E.], the last President of the Sanhedrin, the Romans prohibited this practice. Hillel II was therefore forced to institute his fixed calendar, thus in effect giving the Sanhedrin’s advance approval to the calendars of all future years. (“The Jewish Calendar and Holidays (incl. Sabbath)”: The Jewish Calendar; Changing the Calendar, www.torah.org, emphasis supplied.)
Once the ancient lunar-solar calendar had been set aside, knowledge of the true lunar Sabbath was lost with the acceptance of the pagan Julian calendar.
Lunar Sabbath Lost
These stone fragments of an early Julian calendar clearly show an eight-day week. The Israelites did not use the Julian calendar for finding the seventh-day Sabbath. They used the original lunar-solar calendar of Creation to find the lunar Sabbath.
The calendar of the Roman Republic, like that of the Hebrew calendar, was also a lunar-solar calendar. In 45-46 B.C., Julius Cæsar reformed the original Roman calendar and, with the help of an Alexandrian astronomer, Sosigenes, created a new solar calendar with continuously cycling weeks: the Julian calendar. While the Julian calendar was in use at the time of the Messiah, the Israelites did not use it as the early Julian week was eight days long! The Israelites were still using their original lunar solar calendar and worshipping on the seventh day of its week.
From that time, until the fourth century, Israelites and apostolic Christians continued to use the Biblical calendar for their religious observances. With the rising power of the paganized Christians in Rome, this led to a centuries long battle over when to remember the death and resurrection of the Saviour. The Christians in Rome wished to celebrate the Messiah’s resurrection on the pagan Easter. Apostolic Christians, on the other hand, wished to commemorate Yahushua’s death on the original Passover.
The point of contention appeared deceptively simple: Passover versus Easter. The issues at stake, however, were immense. The only way to determine when Passover occurs is to use the Biblical luni-solar calendar, for only by observing the moon can one count to the 14th day following the first visible crescent. Because the seventh-day Sabbath was also calculated from the first visible crescent, a ruling in favor of Easter being observed on a Julian date would also affect the seventh-day Sabbath. (See Biblical Calendar Outlawed: Constantine and the Council of Nicaea.)
Calendars calculate time and at the Council of Nicæa it was decided to set aside Jewish calculation and adopt the pagan Julian calendar. This effectively destroyed knowledge of the lunar Sabbath and substituted the pagan Saturday Sabbath in its place. Jewish scholars admit this fact, too.
In a colorful description of the Council of Nicæa, Jewish scholar Heinrich Graetz wrote:
At the Council of Nice [sic] the last thread was snapped which connected Christianity to its parent stock. The festival of Easter had up till now been celebrated for the most part at the same time as the Jewish Passover, and indeed upon the days calculated and fixed by the Synhedrion [Sanhedrin] in Judæa for its celebration; but in future its observance was to be rendered altogether independent of the Jewish calendar . . . . (History of the Jews, published by the Jewish Publication Society of America, 1893, Vol. II, see pp. 563-564.)
The Council of Nicæa had the most profound, far reaching effect upon the truth of the lunar Sabbath. To this day Catholic scholars base the authority of the Catholic Church on this act of changing the Sabbath from the lunar Sabbath of the lunar-solar calendar to Sunday on the continuously cycling Julian week. The pagan Julian calendar, legislated into place, an entire counterfeit system of religion. Thus the true lunar Sabbath was buried under centuries of tradition and the assumption that the modern week has cycled continuously ever since Creation.
Repair the Breach: Restore the Lunar Sabbath
Isaiah 58 contains a beautiful prophecy of the work to be performed by the final generation. “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” (Isaiah 58:12)
The three angels’ messages of Revelation 14 contain a call to worship on the true lunar Sabbath of Scripture.
This is the work of those who have pledged their allegiance to the Creator by worshipping Him on His true holy day, the lunar Sabbath. To repair the hole made in Yahuwah’s law, to clear away the rubbish of error and tradition, accumulated from centuries of assumption, is the great work committed to the people of the final generation. Revelation contains a three-fold warning, calling all to “Fear . . . [Yahuwah], and give glory to him . . . and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” (See Revelation 14:6-10.)
This subject is of the utmost importance to all now living. The true Sabbath is the mark of loyalty that distinguishes those who are willing to obey from those who cling to tradition and assumption. All should study the subject of the lunar Sabbath, the facts of calendar history that relate to the lunar Sabbath, and pertinent passages from the Bible. The Battle of Armageddon, like everything else in the long-running war between Yahuwah and Lucifer, is fought on the battlefield of worship.
All who desire to honor their Creator will choose to worship Him on the day that He has blessed and set aside: the seventh day of the week on the lunar-solar calendar, the true lunar Sabbath.

Free Bible Teachings
If you believe in free will , your belief is that your superior to GODs will. true or false.?
& you are an Antichrist if you believe in free will. because you do not follow the teachings of the bible, you pick & choose what you what to believe. & justify your ignorance with vain babbling.
The first response sums it up beautifully, ” Free will is God’s will”. By the way, what is it with some Christians anyway regarding the hateful and aggressive manner they treat people with, even their own brethren at times? Where does this come from? I’ll say one thing: it doesn’t come from the holy spirit. Examine your heart man.

If I File Bankruptcy Am I Going Against The Bible?
Guilt will most likely come with filing for bankruptcy whether you are Christian or non-Christian. I’m sure people worry about “cheating the system,” or taking advantage of the government. Not being able to pay what you owe is simple enough to make you feel bad. I know some people mistakenly think bankruptcy is not supported by the Bible.
First of all, you should understand that our forefathers instated bankruptcy for very good reasons. Our founding fathers even understood that emergencies and mistakes can happen – and there needs to be an opportunity for a fresh start and second chance for Americans. Bankruptcy has developed over the years to best serve U.S. citizens and it is part of the federal law.
Secondly, bankruptcy is discussed and supported in the Bible. In Deuteronomy, the Bible discusses a release of debts by debtors after a seven-year time span – a similar system to the one we use today where a debtor can file bankruptcy only every seven years. Another passage says the debtor should be released from debt after a certain amount of time passes, and they should also be released and allowed to keep some of their property so their lives can continue. Today’s bankruptcy laws reflect that debtors are allowed to keep some of their property throughout the process.
You should always remember the “bankruptcy” and “forgiveness” go hand in hand. The Bible teaches us to forgive, and bankruptcy is simply a form of debt forgiveness. Christians may know best that parts of our lives are out of our own control, and that there are several reasons that you could be in debt: you may have experienced an emergency, such as medical diagnosis or an accident, even simple spending mistakes are forgiven. Our current bankruptcy laws allow debts to be forgiven and have support for those who have experienced a financial blow.
Do you want to learn more about how your debts can be forgiven and more about bankruptcy? Before you talk to any lawyers or bill collectors, and before you sign any forms, do your research to gain all the information you need to know to make the right choice for your situation.

Bible Genesis Text
What are some movies, text, poems, songs, or novels that connect to the Bible?
What are some movies, text, poems, songs, or novels that connect to the following books in the Bible:
Ecclesiastes, Job, Jonah, Ruth, Exodus, and Genesis
Example. In the book of Genesis it has Noah and the Ark that connects to the movie Evan Almighty
So basically I am looking for any kind of work that is similar to those books. I need an example for each book, not one connection that sums up all those books in one.
Sorry for the spelling errors.
Ecclesiastes – “Turn, turn, turn” by the Byrds
Job – can’t recall anything at the moment
Jonah – Pinocchio (swallowed by a whale)
Ruth – can’t recall anything at the moment
Exodus – well, just about everything, from the movie “The Ten Commandments” to the book “Prince of Egypt” to *any* book that has the word “Exodus” in its title – and there are zillions.
Genesis – ditto above, Genesis (in English) is *nearly* always used in reference to the bible, and there are zillions of movies and books with the word “Genesis” in their title. Lots of scifi uses the word “genesis” in describing high tech.

The Truth about the Bible – Infallible Book of No Errors?
The Truth about the Bible – Infallible book of no errors?
Written by Joseph Ho, 12th April, 2009
The bible contains errors, errors in chronological description and also errors of recording. Shocking indeed and its hard to believe what I have said isn’t it. Before you judge my statement as heretics, I urge you to read on but pray for divine protection against any false teachings. But I speak the truth so I must produce the evidence of this statement you may say. So then is this an accusation or blatant malicious attack on the work of a perfect God? God is my father and as a son there is much to be done to repair his work. The bible is not perfect, since it contains errors, because when something contains error it is imperfect, and that is the description of perfect in the English Dictionary. Perfect means no errors or mistakes, period.
So can a Christian then boast that they have the infallible book from God, no they can not even claim that. However, to be accurate and precise they can claim that the Word of God is perfect and infallible; that they can claim. But they can not claim they have the infallible error free book of the word of God. If the bible were to be the Holy Spirit inspired book, one would assume that there would be no error in it since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. The Holy Spirit can not produce anything with error because it is the Spirit of Truth. Ascribing a book written with errors as inspired by the Holy Spirit is blasphemous. Certain portions of the bible were indeed inspired by the Holy Spirit but not everything in it, God gave men the honor to include their words in the bible and these are the ones that contain the errors.
A Spirit of Truth can not accept wrong or erroneous information since it is wise and all discerning, so which one is the right assumption here, men makes mistakes under the anointing? If that were to be the truth then the anointing in itself is not all too trustworthy. So what I am saying is that the bible is not completely written under the anointing from the Holy One and the complete text is written by 3 types of beings, the historian, God-inspired men and the Holy Spirit or God himself. It is the historian who makes these mistakes, but their words are in the bible so it makes the bible non-error free. That is a sad fact, but we must as righteous, honest, sincere, God fearing, humble and truthful people admit to this fact. If we try to allow and accept even a single error as truth we will have an opened door for the devil to come into our mind. This is the danger.
The bible contains the words of men and the Word of God. God does not make any mistakes, except one which God himself said he did in Genesis 6:6,
Genesis 6:6 (King James Version)
6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Genesis 6:6 (New International Version)
6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.
I promised not to twist any scripture here to suit any preconceived ideas of what the bible is and is not saying. But I will only present the truth from within its self-written published words. No one needs to repent unless they did something wrong, that is my definition of making a mistake and God repented.
Definition of the Word of God
The word of God and the laws of God refer to God-spoken words in the bible and the Ten Commandments. Everything in the bible which is spoken directly from the mouth of God is the Word of God and anything that the Lord says as recorded is also the Word of God. All other words are the word of men, historian or scribe recording the events, and times.
Anything else written from the memory of men belongs to the word of men and their written account. Men being imperfect make mistakes, but God is our maker so in that sense we have been made this way for a reason, to glorify him. God did made men in his image, so if we were to say we are imperfect than since we are in the image of God, can we infer that God is also imperfect then? The errors of inferring can be disastrous so human ways can not be adequate in defining the book of infallibility. I was deeply disturbed when I first came across these errors and it took me a long time to come to peace within my soul that the bible is not perfect as most pastors would have you believe. No man made lies or mistaken truth spoken with sincerity and good intentions can be used to glorify our God, they are filthy rags in the eyes of the Lord our God.
And ever since I accepted this truth about the bible, God showed me more, but I will present two of them to you so that you may know the truth and let even that truth set you free. I can only share two such errors since this is an article not a book; so I hope the reader will not judge what they read by the limited proof. As all errors and lies are from the devil because God is light and has no lies in him so he does not sanction any wrong and misleading facts, none, zilch, zero, nana, whatever; he does not tolerate lies. God is not glorified in lies nor wrong glory ascribed to him. God is not greedy for any of these things which men speak untruth to his work.
“If God can work with imperfect men who sins why can’t God use an imperfect book with errors in it. God certainly can.”…….. Joseph
If there were absolutely no errors in the bible, how can He expect us to exercise faith, we would have no need for faith. God will not share his glory with anything or anyone, God alone is perfect. In that reason, I am well comforted, that God is so wise and omnipotent, he can use anything to glorify himself without our help, none whatsoever. The Truth needs no defense; it can defend itself without any men’s help.
Biblical Errors of Numerical Figures
To proof this point let us go into the bible to seek the answers, let’s look at 2 verses which describe the same event with wrong figures. The Holy Spirit should be able to do simple math, yet a numerical mistake was found in the bible.
1 Chronicles 21:24-25 (New International Version)
24 But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying the full price. I will not take for the LORD what is yours, or sacrifice a burnt offering that costs me nothing.”
25 So David paid Araunah six hundred shekels of gold for the site.
2 Samuel 24:24-25 (New International Version)
24 But the king replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”
So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them. 25 David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.
The recording for the site was 600 shekels of gold in Chronicles and 50 shekels of silver in Samuel. This is truly and error, so I say the bible has an error, there was a recording of wrong price being paid. It’s the same mistakes in the King James Version as well. But worst the King James being the older version contains errors in the name as well; Ornan and Araunah.
1 Chronicles 21:24-25 (King James Version)
24And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
25So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight.
2 Samuel 24:24-25 (King James Version)
24And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
25And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.
Now lets go on to the Book of Matthew and Luke, here you will see 2 entirely different account of Jesus after he was born, I am much sorry as you are when I saw two different version of the accounts of this events, but I must report the truth as written by Holy Spirit inspired men of God.
Biblical Errors of Chronological Events
One Gospel account given after Jesus was born mentioned fleeing to Egypt in earnest while the other account is a peaceful on with Jesus and family returning to Nazareth. How could such an important account be not recorded by Luke if Jesus and family had to escape to Egypt to avoid being killed by Herod? Can the Holy Spirit have forgotten such a thing? I suspect it was the historian’s own misgivings that had produced two different account of what happened after Jesus was born. So this is sufficient proof that the Bible is written by historian who constantly made mistakes and don’t do their own fact checking but wrote from their memory. Below are the bible verses that show this inconsistency in the chronological events after the birth of Christ as written by “Holy Spirit” inspired man of God.
Matthew 2:13-15 (New International Version)
The Escape to Egypt
13When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.” 14So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”
Luke 2:21-22 (New International Version)
Jesus Presented in the Temple
21On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived.
22When the time of their purification according to the Law of Moses had been completed, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord
Luke 2:39 (New International Version)
39When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth.
Will you as righteous people now say that the bible is perfect, inspired word of God or the bible is the works of historian man, inspired man of God and God, himself. I would favor the latter description of our Bible; at least that sits perfectly at peace within my soul. I will only boast of the bible by saying only that its “The Word of God” be it written or comes from his mouth, those words are infallible, even words from his true appointed servants, the Prophets. In that, I am very confident to say the Word of God is infallible but not the entire bible.
What is the Rhema Word of God?
The rhema word of God is not the same rhema word that Kenneth Hagin follower teaches. The true rhema word of God is not the word of human positive confession, this seasonal positive confession is man’s word spoken to bring prosperity with human understanding and its inherent idolatry. The positive confession of man is self serving in nature with no regard for sin within the confessing person. God-given words on the other hand as spoken by the prophets are words in its season as in Isaiah,
Isaiah 50:4 (New International Version)
4 The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.
Isaiah was one of the many prophets who could give a word from the Lord and it would manifest itself to sustain the weary heart, to give hope, chastisement, rebuke or call them to repent of their sin and find favor with God again. Only the words sent by God can accomplish and prosper for which it was sent. Words of men and presumed prophets not authenticated by God will accomplish nothing. That is why some positive confession by irate preachers and false Christians can not work at all; they were not approved by God. God is law and order and not chaos. So how is it possible for sinful unrepentant man to decree anything and God has to honor them, it’s ridiculous and heretics at best; charismatic witchcraft.
Isaiah 55:11 (New International Version)
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 44:25-26 (New International Version)
25 who foils the signs of false prophets
and makes fools of diviners,
who overthrows the learning of the wise
and turns it into nonsense,
26 who carries out the words of his servants
and fulfills the predictions of his messengers,
God will only fulfill the words of his servants, the ones he has chosen to do his works, and also his sons whoever they may be will speak from the father like Jesus. God did not fulfill the words of the Sons of Sheba nor when they use the name of Jesus to cast out demons, for they had no authority been assigned to them. Although the name of Jesus is powerful, it has no power when confessed by false Christians. Those who have no relationship with Jesus are all false Christians. These are deaf sheep that could not hear the master’s voice. My sheep hear my voice, and they follow me says the Lord our Shepherd. The Holy Spirit is given only to all his sons and daughters and they can hear his voice. The Holy Spirit is the seal guaranteeing the eternal salvation, the white garments or robes worn by the overcomers.
John 5:39-40 (New International Version)
39You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, 40yet you refuse to come to me to have life.
Anyone who made a commitment to study scripture and to follow its teachings are highly commended, for it contains wisdom and principles for Godly living, however, that is only one part of a Christian life. What about hearing from the Shepherd Jesus himself and moving in the Spirit with him, which one is more profitable? You have to do both. We are reminded to move in Spirit and Truth because the letter is a static command and people who move only with the letter will find their lives incomplete with occasional victory but mostly in a state of confusion. Sometimes God comes and other times he doesn’t and that makes these sheep half trusting God not moving in complete obedience. When God don’t come, they come themselves with their own solutions which bring much grief, why? In life we all have deadlines like monthly bills, and so if God don’t supply our needs we have to do something to supply that need, that is why I say when God don’t come, we come ourselves under the pressure of real life situation, we bear no fruit.
2 Corinthians 3:6
He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
John 4:23-24 (New International Version)
23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
Jeremiah 9:24
but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the LORD.
Colossians 1:16 (New International Version)
16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
Psalm 12:6
And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.
Proverbs 30:5 (New International Version)
5 “Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
Matthew 13:23
But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
Luke 1:20
And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their proper time.”
Deuteronomy 8:3 (New International Version)
3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
Matthew 4:4 (New International Version)
4Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
There are plenty of proofs that God wants us to communicate with him and not just reading from a book. Don’t just read the bible; God wants you to hear his voice and the words from his own mouth. The bible is not the be-it-all and end-it-all; it’s only a guide to show you the true Almighty God. It can not replace the position of God.
Although he has given us steadfast principles, statutes, decrees and commandments, he still wants us to abide in Him not in just a book written about him and an imperfect book at that. This book again becomes an idol in the eyes of men who can not move with the Spirit of God; these people have now claimed a perfect book as God. And they have made it to become their God so they do not need God, just his words they say.
A book of letters without the Spirit is still a dead thing. What a pity these people have idols after idols even an epoch which Gideon made after he won the war became an idol for worship, now they worship a book of words and not even desire to try to communicate with a living God. They love idols all the time, they love the created things and not the creator whom they can not see and trust.
Then they say that the book is complete and they need no new revelation or words from God. How silly they are? But are they silly, no they are not, what are they actually saying, they are saying that they have found the way to God and its in the bible alone, so they are in effect being righteous because since they are expert in the book, they want everyone to submit to that book so they can be the only teacher with the right stuff and way to God. It’s again another monopoly type of control, this time using their own terms and condition on God and they being the ones who knows how to live for God because they have trusted in the Divinity of a book of static words. They forgot that the manna from heaven is fresh every morning and should they keep the manna for another day it will rot, that is similar to taking scripture anyhow and anywhere and using it for their current present life situation, it will produce maggots and not victory. The manna from heaven is the absolute rhema word from the mouth of God and it changes everyday with the Spirit speaking into our lives.
Truth without Spirit will never bring victory to the soul, its about God, it was written to describe God, so read it, memorized it and go to God, come to Jesus, and Jesus only, …….. Don’t stop with the bible and scriptures it will not free your soul………….. God is alive and he wants to talk to you. It’s the shepherd that can lead you to green pastures………..God bless you all, if you want to know more about deeper walk with God and pruning all kinds of weed check out my website or send and email to me.

God testing people in Genesis–does this mean he is not all knowing?
Please stick to the text of the Bible and God as a character rather than inflicting your own personal beliefs of God.
He asked where Adam was at when He re-entered the garden, he allowed Even and Adam to be deceived by a serpent, when he told Noah to make an ark, it was because the people of Earth had become corrupt, etc., etc.!
Omniscient, obviously now, and I constitute power to be obtained through knowledge, so he wasn’t omnipotent either, since he built a world that is corruptible (given the serpent thing, etc., I would say it was already corrupt before Adam and Eve where even there)!
Also, has anyone noticed that he kept telling Noah and Abraham that he would grant them many sons to grow as princes and kings, and rule many lands, and give Noah and Abraham many lands to rule over themselves, and much wealth, if they simply just praised him, and that is sounded VERY familiar to the conversations between ‘Satan’ and Jesus Christ, when ‘Satan’ promised all this land and wealth if he would just praise him. Anyone else notice that?

FREE WILL vs. THE BIBLE
By Reg Barrow
“Free will” is represented by “Arminianism teaches” below.
Arminianism teaches: “… and as many as believed were ordained to eternal life.”
THE BIBLE TEACHES: “AND AS MANY AS WERE ORDAINED TO ETERNAL LIFE BELIEVED.” (Acts 13:48)
Arminianism teaches: “For many are called, but few choose.”
THE BIBLE TEACHES: “FOR MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN.” (Matt. 22:14)
Arminianism teaches: “Make your decision for Christ.”
THE BIBLE TEACHES: “All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” (Matt. 11:27)
Arminianism teaches: “I accepted Jesus as my personal saviour.”
THE BIBLE TEACHES: “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you (John 15:16). Also: But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son in me.” (Paul’s testimony in Galatians 1:15,16)
Arminianism teaches: “God can’t save you unless you let him, it is your choice.”
THE BIBLE TEACHES: “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy…Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.” (Romans 9:16, 18).
Arminianism teaches: “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.”
THE BIBLE TEACHES: “(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth:) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated.” (Rom. 9:11-13).
Arminianism teaches: “God wants everyone to be saved.”
THE BIBLE TEACHES: “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand…” (Mark 4:11,12).
